Applied Plastics (“Applied”) is a leading provider of specialty PTFE coated wires and other metal-based components going into medical device industry, with a primary focus on the advanced catheter market. Applied Plastics’ custom coating is primarily applied to forming mandrels and core wires. Applied was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Norwood, Massachusetts. Vance Street invested in Applied in January 2019.
