Kate Dowley

Kate Dowley is Head of Investor Relations at Vance Street Capital, where she is responsible for the firm’s investor relations and fundraising efforts. Prior to joining Vance Street in 2026, she was Vice President, Head of Investor Relations at W Capital, part of AXA IM Prime, where she led institutional fundraising and investor relations. Previously, she spent nearly five years at L Catterton, where she helped establish the firm’s Investor Relations presence in Europe after relocating to London. Kate began her career in Investor Relations at Lindsay Goldberg and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, with a concentration in Economics and Strategy, from the University of Chicago.

Kate enjoys skiing, hiking, needlepoint, and hosting dinner parties – often complete with a game of dominoes. She has also spent nearly a decade mentoring students through Minds Matter, a nonprofit supporting high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds on their path to and through college.
