Andy Kirkpatrick

Andy Kirkpatrick is a Senior Operating Partner at Vance Street, working with portfolio company leadership teams to help them achieve strategic and financial objectives. Andy brings nearly 30 years of experience to Vance Street with specific expertise in sales, service, R&D, manufacturing, and M&A. Prior to joining Vance Street, Andy served as COO of Sonendo, an innovator in the dental market, through the Company’s IPO. Prior to Sonendo, he spent 12 years at Accuray, a cancer treatment technology leader, in a variety of leadership roles including M&A, Americas sales and service, and finally as COO with responsibility for operations and R&D. He started his career as a nuclear engineer on a submarine in the US Navy. Andy serves as a trustee on the US Naval Academy Foundation and on the Board of Directors of Tau Science. He graduated from the US Naval Academy with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.

Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and two adult children as well as staying fit, traveling, and reading non-fiction books.
