Vance Street Capital (“Vance Street”), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, today announced the addition of Chris Cummins as an Operating Partner. Mr. Cummins’ primary focus will be to work with portfolio company leadership teams to help them achieve strategic objectives and budgetary goals. Mr. Cummins brings over 27 years of manufacturing experience to Vance Street with specific expertise in Lean principles & Six Sigma deployment, driving global manufacturing strategies, supply chain optimization, and continuous performance improvement.
Mr. Cummins currently serves as President and CEO of Vance Street portfolio company, Micronics Engineered Filtration Group, which consists of Micronics, Southern Filter Media, C.P. Environmental, United Process Controls, and AeroPulse. Prior to joining Vance Street and Micronics, Mr. Cummins held senior leadership roles including President, COO, SVP – Global Operations, and General Manager for a wide range of privately held and public companies including Danaher Corporation, Colson Group, Symmetry Medical, and Abaco Systems.
