The acquisition of Southern Filter Media will enable Micronics to better serve its customer’s dry filtration needs and leverage Micronics’ global sales force to continue Southern Filter Media’s strong growth across its dry filtration offering.
Portsmouth, NH – December 31, 2014 – Micronics, Inc., a global provider of wet filtration products such as filter cloth, filter plates, spares and OEM custom filter presses, announced today that it has acquired Southern Filter Media, LLC (“Southern Filter”), a leading manufacturer and distributer of dry environmental filtration products for application in various industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Southern Filter’s management team will remain in place and continue to oversee the business.
