Randy Ralph

Randy Ralph is a Strategic Advisor to Vance Street, primarily focusing on Investor Relations and Fundraising. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to the Private Funds Group at Houlihan Lokey.  Randy joined Northwestern Mutual Capital (Milwaukee) in 2000 and served as Managing Director, Private Equity Funds from 2006 until his retirement in 2021. He was also a voting member of the Junior Capital & Equity Co-Invest Investment Committee.  During his tenure, Randy primarily focused on North American mid-market, control buyout strategies, and underwrote various other funds including European, Asian, Distressed, and Energy.  Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, he had 13 years of investing and lending experience with ING Investment Management (Atlanta) and Mellon Bank (Pittsburgh and Chicago). Over his career, Randy invested extensively across the various private asset classes, including investment-grade debt, structured product, mezzanine, co-invest equity, and private equity funds.  Randy currently serves as a Board Director of Kendall Vegetation Services, a portfolio company of Sterling Investment Partners.  He earned a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University and an MA in History from Indiana University.
